Dr. Naresh Gohel completedhis MD (ped) from Shree M.P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar with best performance. Excellence and a passion for success has been a way of life right from his childhood. His uncompromising attitude and sheer determination to scale heights of academics is reflected in his overall attitude and demeanour. He started his practice in Bajrangdas Hospital, Bhavnagar as a chief paediatrician. He was the founder secretary of Indian Association of Paediatricians (IAP)-Bhavnagar. He started his private practice in 1996, when he established Kalrav Hospital. He was the first one to introduce 4-bedded NICU in Bhavnagar. In 1999, he expanded the NICU unit by making 8-bedded NICU with specialized unit for premature & low birth-weight babies.
Dr. Naresh Gohel has vast experience with Dr. J.K. Godadra, Dr. H.K. Takwani and other senior paediatricians. He is a life member of NNF & IAP. He was president of IAP-Bhavnagar for 2008 & 2009, under whom IAP-GSB won best branch award in 2008. He was organising secretary of Mid-term Scientific Conference, held in 2009. He had been faculty in Pedicon in 2011 in Gurgaon and was appreciated by central IAP. He was also an executive member of IAP-GSB in 2013. He has attended many national and international conferences, including conferences at Indonesia, Kualalumpur, Bangkok etc.
Apart from rewards, recognitions and achievements, Dr. Naresh Gohel has treated thousands of new born premature babies including low birth weight babies. He treats children with intensive care and keeps utter determination towards curing the children. All senior paediatricians appreciate his work. Many junior doctors have worked with him and being trained nicely. Besides this professional expertise he possesses an extremely pleasant and caring personality.
